3 weeks out...

We're only 3 weeks out from Capital City Bloodbath 2018 and we're super excited!
  • 110 players for Warhammer 40k
  • 36 players for Age of Sigmar
  • Almost $4,000 of prize support!
We've got Player's Packs available for everything over on the Events page, and have waiting lists going for all events so don't be afraid to get in touch if you're still interested as we may have last minute space!

Lastly, we're looking to expand the Age of Sigmar event a little bit to 40 players! We'll be contacting those on the wait list for first refusal, but if you're interested please get in touch!

Capital City Bloodbath 40k is sold out!

Wow!

We sized 40k at 64. It sold out in a few days...
We expanded it to 80. It sold out the same day...
We've now expanded to 100 and we're sold out AGAIN and we have a waiting list!

Incredible! We're discussing possible expansion, but I believe we're at the limit of what we can support in terms of Warhammer 40k. If you are interested in being on the waiting list, please contact us. Should there be available space in the event, it will be first come/first serve for those registered on the wait list.

There are still 7 spots left in the AoS GT as of today, and plenty of space in all other events, so sign up while you can!

Sign-up Issues on Mobile

Hi All,

We're aware of issues that people are having using our signup system on mobile devices. This is a problem caused by the event software that we are using (Eventzilla) and is not something that we can fix.

We will not be using this software next year due to the myriad of issues it has caused, but for the time being we recommend that sign-ups be done on a computer rather than mobile device.

Update: It looks like this is affecting every platform except Chrome from a desktop computer. If you do not have access to this, please email us at canhammer.podcast@gmail.com and we will register you manually and discuss payment options.

Rules/FAQ Lock-In for 40k

Hi Everyone,

As noted in the Player's Packs, we have locked in the rules releases as they stand on July 15th, and will also be using the Games Workshop/Forgeworld FAQs that were released in late July. Effectively, any content being released after July 28th will not be used unless there is a very compelling reason to do so (e.g. FAQ clarifications, etc...).

We will not be allowing the new Space Marine codex due to the proximity of its release to the event.

Additionally, expect the 40k Doubles pack to have the finalized missions this coming weekend!

The 40k Doubles pack is now finalized!

Warhammer 40k 8th Edition?

For those asking about 8th edition - if it is out before July 15th, 2017 we will move to 8th edition Warhammer 40k for both the singles and doubles events. This gives all players slightly over a month to make whatever adjustments are required, which we feel is the most fair approach as everyone will have plenty of time to get used to the new system.
